麻竹村委会位于海丰县北部隶属汕尾市国有黄羌林场下辖6个村民小组，总人口870多人，是海丰县北部又穷又小边远老区；村民收入只靠耕作和外出人员务工，人均0.3亩水田为经济支柱，村经济集体收入为零；也是全县的贫困村。
