寺上村是响水河镇古老的一个村庄，临近仁彰村，解放后的几十年间，寺上村的学生上三年级开始就会走路到仁彰小学来都书。

仁彰小学的好几名教师也是寺上村村民，一大早骑自行车过来教书，晚上放学后回家。
