吴元美，宋人。字仲，永福县人。

个人简介

吴元美，宣和六年（1124）进士。绍兴中，历太常寺簿，出为两路机宜。有文名，尝作《夏二子传》，二子，盖指蚊蝇也。其乡人进士郑炜与有隙，以上之丞相秦桧，诬其指斥国家，讥毁大臣。赵构特宥之，容州，再谪南雄州，卒。其后杨椿、洪遵等为言于朝，特旨官其子。
