剑虻，昆虫纲双翅目动物。

描述

双翅目(Diptera)剑虻科(Therevidae)约670种昆虫的统称。成虫细长，多毛或鬃，多见於牧场等开阔地。幼虫在土或腐败物质中，与成虫同为掠食性。扭动行进，易误认为蠕虫。
