肇庆路属江西等处行中书省。辖境相当今肇庆市、广宁县、四会市、高要区、高明区等市县地。

肇庆路，元至元十六年（1279年）改肇庆府置，治高要县（今广东肇庆市）。明洪武元年（1368年）复改为肇庆府。
